1) Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the internship;
2) Be legally entitled to work in Canada (either a citizen, permanent resident or person with refugee status - work permits are not eligible);
3) Self-identify as underemployed (i.e. employed below their level of education, holding part-time employment, or in emerging fields with few jobs);
4) Have completed post-secondary studies (exception: interns located in Nunavut, Yukon or NWT are not required to meet this criterion)
5) This is a remote position therefore you are required to have access to a computer with a viable internet connection.

Description.
As Public Relations Communications Project Manager (Intern), your role is to manage and develop the day-to-day communications and marketing strategies for BGprod. and to project manage the communications demands from your assigned client files.
This internship opportunity is presented as part of the “Digital Skills for Youth” program coordinated by the Independent Media Arts Alliance and funded by the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
The Public Relations Communications Project Manager (Intern) is responsible for reporting to Project Managers and VPs. At BGprod. we encourage a slower-paced, low-stress environment, however, we have a culture of delivering with absolute precision before the deadline. Your job will be task-driven and not time-driven. This means you can creatively manage your work schedule as long as you meet deadlines and are always present on Asana, in your, 1-on-1s and at our bi-weekly AHOD (All Hands On Deck) meeting.
Mandate.
Handling Sensitive Information
Adopt the BGprod. workflow and content models
Scheduling Content Across 3 Client Files (Later.com - Content Manager)
Create content using Templates
Maintaining order and structure of secure folders (Google Suite)
Integrating text and visual content on (WordPress)
Use BGprod. templates and our client’s design systems to produce content:
Copy
Video/Audio
Graphics
This job is a remote job and the candidate will be required to work independently
Hard Skills.
Secondary School Diploma (University Level Preferred)
Advanced Level French Proficiency and/or English Language Skills
Knowledge of CANVA & Powerpoint
Knowledge of Google Suite
Knowledge of HubSpot or CRM knowlege
Soft Skills.
Punctuality. Our deadlines are always fixed, be on time.
Time Management. This is a low-stress function… don't be stressed out, don’t stress us out.
Task Driven. There is not much idle time. We will assign tasks if you can maintain accuracy and execute faster than expected, this job is for you.
Formulaic. Some jobs hire you to do 10 things and figure out the process, that’s not this Job. We have a magic formula, stick to the script.
